I went to primary school in Chalmette, La for a short period, then returned to the Netherlands with my family(my father was a sea captain). On one of the first days in class we sang this song and it somehow fixed itself in my mind (although I did not understand a word of it) . Hearing it somehow makes me happy and think over those long ago school days. Thank you for making it available so nicely. Greetings, Roel I love this song just as much as I loved it 60 years ago.
