My parents used to sing it as a duet. It was such a beautiful celebration of their love for each other. One of my favorite memories from childhood. I heard a song at the drugstore yesterday that m,y mother used to whistle. I think the lyrics of part of it went 'It was you, it was you, it was alway always you, and I've known that from the start'. I am Hosting a Reunion of the 487th and 486th Bomb Groups of the Mighty Eighth Air Force (WWII) this coming October in Savannah, Georgia. On one of the evenings, we are having an old fashioned sing-a-long. I am in the process of making about 200 of these sing-a-longs for that.!
