I too think my blog is too long, but you know what? I did it for my children - and for close friends. There's this thing called "skimming" when you read. Most of us are quite accomplished at it. Stop stressing and allow YOUR personality to dictate the long and short of it. SOME OF US.....(even the very BUSY some of us) enjoy STOPPING THE RAT RACE AND REMINISCING. The world didn't spin quite so fast 40 or 50 years ago. It's HEALTHY...to slow down. If you hate it - dump it. If it fills SOME purpose in someones' life....leave well enough alone. Frank Lloyd Wright said "Less is More" and sometimes it's true. The problem is...it isn't practical. I would LOVE to have less and have an immaculate room with nothing more than five pieces of art/furniture...but...we have frikkin 8 kids!!! Yes, I have to DUST the gobbeldeegook that belonged to a great great grandmother. Without the gobbledeegook...no one would even remember...great great grandmother Rachel.
